Soo...We are MARRIED!!!

I am horrible at this blogging thing.  I am much better at reading others than posting on my own.  Let's just say our wedding weekend came and went and I do believe it was FABULOUS!!!  The rehearsal dinner was fun and laid back.  The wedding day is kind of a blur but after we saw each other it became much easier and more real.  The ceremony was perfect.  The reception was a PARTY!!!

Best decision we made...seeing each other before the wedding.

Then we took some portriats...lOVE the leaves.

 Our fun socks and shoes!!

The KISS.

Our first dance.

Some fun party pics...glow sticks and props for the photo booth were fabulous!!!

And then we "left"....to go back in and PARTY some more with our closest family and friends.
(All photos courtesy of our fabulous photogs Dale and Lauren with Benfield Photography...check out their blog!!)

Coming tomorrow...some of my favorite photos taken by our friends and family!!!

FOURTY FOUR days and counting.....

Wow the time sure does fly when you are planning a wedding, moving, and start a new job!!!  In the last couple of months Michael moved into our apartment, I started a new job, we sent out the invitations, the flower girl dresses came in, one of my best friends got marred, and the list goes on and on and on.....
First things first...I have a new JOB!!!  I am a pre-k assistant teacher with the Rogers Public Schools.  I love working for the schools and the teacher I am working with is fabulous.  This is our door that we worked on for quite sometime....

Secondly, one of my best friends and BM, Barbie got married to her best friend Peter.  Let me tell you, we had one fabulous weekend in Houston at the Hotel ZaZa celebrating their love for each other!!  Here is a photo that her fabulous photographer took..

Megs and I at the reception....

Next, WE SENT OUT THE INVITATIONS!!!! Wow I am I glad to have those out of our hands.  We decided to print them ourselves and I am happy with how they turned out.  I know that the only people that really care about them are me and my family so I was fine with not having fancy nancy invitations.

All of them ready to go to the post office...

We have also had our first wedding shower..our second one is this Sunday.  My lovely MOH Megan, Aunt Denise, and cousin Haley threw a shower for us at Las Palmas in Rogers.  We had so much fun, we got lots of great things, and had yummy margs to drink!! This is a picture of me with the 3 fabulous hostesses!!

Our gift table at the apartment after the shower...a lot more has been added since this photo and I can't even imagine what it will look like after this weekend!!

Also, our precious flower girls momma ordered their dresses and they came in. I love them and can't wait to see them in them.  My mom and I are going to Davids Bridal tomorrow to get a slip for me and we are going to look at the bows to see if they will fit with the dresses.  So after we figure out that I will post pictures of their sweet little dresses.
On another note, Michaels Great Grandma passed away this week, her services were today.  Please keep Gran and the rest of their family in your prayers.  It is a blessing knowing that his Meme is in a better place and no longer suffering.

Horrible Blogger...

So I am a horrible blogger. I have so much going on and so many things to share but I always forget to get on here and write them out.  I have made a goal to write a new post at least once a week if not more.  I have so many wedding things and life things to catch up on!!  For now though, I leave you with a photo...
Michael and I at a good friends wedding a few weeks ago.  I can't believe that in less than 3 months it will be our wedding!!

STD's have been sent and recieved....(Save the Dates)

I have known since taking our engagement pictures that I wanted to do a picture save the date.  So I began looking on Etsy to find the perfect design.  Well that took forever and ever!!  I couldn't decide on anything.  So one day in April Megan..my MOH and Michael forced me to sit down and pick one right then.  We looked for hours and hours and looked at hundreds of designs!!!  Untill we decided on the perfect one.  I had already picked out the picture we were going to use so I sent the picture and the wording to the etsy store and within 15 min. I had my STD!!!  I couldn't believe that it had taken me hours and hours to pick something out and it only took 15 min for her to get it back to me!!  Well, I was beyond happy with the way they turned out.  After a horrible trip to Walmart we were able to see what they looked like printed.  We finalized our website with our fabulous photogs from Benfield.  We decided to print labels..I was kinda unsure about this, but they turned out great.  We spent a weekend sticking labels on the back of the photo cards, stuffing envelopes, printing labels, sticking labels onto envelopes, licking envelopes, and then putting on stamps.  I also orded a stamper with our monogram so before we sent them in the mail I stamped them all.  Lets just say it was a hectic, but really fun project that we did.  My house looked kinda like a little sweatshop!!!  So, since everyone has recieved  them and I am a horrible blogger...here is the finished card!!

I was so happy with how they turned out and have gotten several comments on them already.  I have some other wedding updates so I plan on updating again soon!!
